7 days!!

We have 7 days until we need to have the rest of our house packed up. We need to be out on the 31st and we need at least that one day to clean it up :) I have been CRAZY busy packing up the house lately.

Today our pastors wife & son came and took Joshua for a couple of hours and I got a lot done! I got almost all of our dishes packed up and all of the books packed up. I have already done all of our clothes and everything from the walls. Our house is already starting to feel so empty!

And now for my 30 day blog journal:

I haven't been doing to well keeping up with this huh? I wouldn't have even started if I had known we were going to be moving, and so busy!

Day 23: A youtube video

This is easy :) Is it cheating because it is one that I uploaded? Oh well!

my happy baby boy.

I hope everyone had a good Monday! Have a great week bloggy friends :) Love Love ♥

Day 19- My Wedding ♥

This is probably my favorite topic so far! I loved my wedding. I don't think it could have been any more perfect than it was. Here are a few pictures from my wonderful day. 6.9.2007

We had perfect weather for our perfect day ♥ I couldn't have asked for anything more. It was better than I could have ever imagined! Although we had technically already been married for 3 months, our wedding was amazing.

I hope everyone is having a good week. Halfway to the weekend! I am off the sleepy land. love love ♥

only 2 more weeks!!

We have exactly 2 weeks from today before my husband is officially out of the army! It is so crazy how fast this month is going, but at the same time it feels never ending. I am not sure I am ready to be back in the "civilian" world, I haven't been anything but an army wife for 3 1/2 years. But ready or not, it is happening!

The next two weeks will mostly consist of packing our house, to be out of here on the 31st. BUT in order for the packing to even begin, I need boxes! You would think I would have already started packing... but no. That isn't very possible without boxes is it? I have done everything possible, but that is definitely an essential when it comes to moving.

and now for my 30 day journal blog. Day 17 (August 17):Day 17 - An art piece

This is pretty much the only painting I have in my house, the only thing on my walls besides pictures. So I will write about this lovely canvas painting!

My friend, and neighbor from Japan, painted this and gave it to me as a thank you for watching her fish while she was on vacation. I absolutely love the colors, and I love cherry blossoms. So it is the perfect combination for me. She is so talented! I wish I could paint something even half as beautiful as this :)

I hope you are all having a good Tuesday! Joshua is taking a nap, so I need to get some cleaning done before he wakes up and makes messes. Have a great day friends. Love Love ♥

I'm not so good at this huh?

I was hoping this 30 day blog journal would kind of be my accountability partner. I have just been so busy the last few weeks I have not had the time to even turn the computer on!

Word is Ryan will be out of the army September 1st, and we will be moving ourselves back to Minnesota. So I have 2 weeks to pack my house up, and no boxes. Don't be suprised if I'm not on here much in the next couple weeks. Life is crazy at the moment!

Blog Journal Day 16 (August 16): Day 16 - a song that makes you cry (or nearly)

Hmm I guess a song that makes me sad would have to be "If tomorrow never comes", my husband in the army, and though he has never been deployed that is what this makes me think of. How short life is and how we need to make sure and tell people how we feel. It really puts life into perspective and makes me a little teary eyed.

Well I hope everyone is having a great Monday so far! Have a great week friends :) Love Love ♥

Day 11 (oops I missed a FEW!), and prayers please

Our internet has been acting up lately so I haven't been able to get on here, I'm just gonna skip the few days of the 30 day blog journal that I missed!

Day 11 (August 11): A photo of you recently.

As I am looking for a recent photo, I realize I am always the one behind the camera! I need to make my husband take some pictures once in a while :)

This is the best you are going to get!

My old neighbor from Japan has been in Maryland visiting her family for the last couple months, spending time with her neice Gracie who has been battling a tumor on her brainstem since November of last year. Jessica's neice passed away Sunday morning, she was only 7 years old. Please keep Jessica, and her whole family in your prayers as they go through this incredibly difficult time.

Please keep this family in your prayers, I can't even imagine losing my baby at such a young age...

20 of my favorite things

As I was writing the title to todays blog I got that Christmas song stuck in my head
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens. Brown paper packages, tied up with strings. These are a few of my favorite things
we used to sing this song in choir when I was in 7th grade :) The year me and my hubby were in choir together and became friends. Ah what a good year that was!

Anywho onto todays post:
20 of my favorite things (after the 1st 2, in no particular order)

1. Jesus--- No brainer, Jesus is my favorite thing!
2. Family-- Life is so empty without family, I can't wait to be back in MN!
3. Reading-- Is there a better way to spend a rainy afternoon?
4. Nap time-- I say this because nap time isn't happening right now, makes me realize how much I love it!
5. Sunshine-- Puts a smile on my face :)

7. Road Trips with the people I love
8. Gardening- I can't wait to get back to MN so I can have one :)

Days 4 & 5 (oops :)

Day 4 of the 30 day journal was a busy day for me and I didn't get on the computer, so I am making up for it today :)

Day 4 (August 4)- Your favorite book

This is an easy one to answer too.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I have read this book 3 or 4 times, I can't remember exactly. It is an awesome story of acceptance & forgiveness. I would highly recommend it to anyone that loves a good love story like me ♥

Day 5 (August 5)- Your favorite quote

Hmm my favorite quote? I love this one by Helen Keller
"It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision"
It really makes you think doesn't it?

This is another good quote. I try to live my life in faith to Christ. Even though we can't see our future we just have to have faith that He knows what He is doing in our lives. Just take it one step at a time with Jesus Christ by our side.
Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
This is something that I have been really working on lately, with all that is going on in our life I need to just have faith that He will make things happen how they are meant to happen.

I hope you are all having a great Thursday. Only one more day until the weekend!! Love love ♥

Big boy!!

Day 3 of 30

Day 3 (August 3, 2010)- Your favorite telivision program

This is probably the easiest question I have every had to answer :) My favorite show is King of Queens!! I love Kevin James, and I could have watched it over and over. I have all nine seasons (aquired over many weeks apart from my husband and having nothing better to do :) and I watch them just as much now as I do when I bought them.

Watching Doug get himself in trouble, and Arthur do crazy things, I laugh at the same stuff I have seen 50 times and notice new things that are funny. If you haven't seen this show then you are really missing out! I love it :)

Day 2 (August 2, 2010)
My favorite movie... hmm that is a tough one! I have seen so many movies but I have a hard time picking a favorite. I guess if I absolutely had to choose I would pick The Miracle Worker. I haven't seen it in so long! But I used to work at a video store and I would play this movie over and over and it NEVER got old. It is such a good movie!

The little girl does awesome and makes me want to keep watching it over and over. Hmm I might have to try to find this again now. I want to watch it!
